VOYSEY OWLS SHORTBREAD TIN

This delightful shortbread cookie tin features a chouette de Voysey or Voysey owls design.

Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857–1941) was one of the founders of the English Arts and Crafts movement. Featuring stylized forms of animals, birds, and flowers, his patterns reflect the simplicity of the natural world.

The recipe has been passed down from generation to generation since the 1600s in the town for which it is named, in France’s Loire Valley.
